This battery-powered, hand-held transmitter is for use with any of our AB series beacons, and allows for remote operation with the convenience of being transportable.
The AB-4500 is available with “on” functionality, which means that when activated, the beacons will flash for the duration set on their controllers; or, “on-off” functionality, which allows the user to manually turn the beacons in the system on, and then manually turn them off when needed. The transmitter has up to ½ mile line-of-sight range, and is perfect for use in control booths, firetrucks, police cars, and maintenance vehicles, as it allows for convenient beacon activation on demand.
This hand-held transmitter can be used with any of our AB series of beacons for temporary or permanent locations:
